Why Craft Cut Carat exists — and why it matters.
I'm Zellis Orange — a self-taught lapidary based in Cambridge, Ontario. I cut on an Ultra Tec VL Classic, the gold standard of faceting machines. Every stone that leaves my bench has been touched by my hands, cut to my standards, and polished to a mirror finish I'm proud of.
A decade of precision stainless steel fabrication and grinding gave me the eye for tight tolerances and the patience for slow, careful work. That background lives in every facet I cut. Slow is fast. Light pressure. Mirror finish. Every time.
